UltraFi uses fibre-optic cabling to provide broadband internet up to 20 times as fast as copper technology can. The cable itself looks similar to copper, but has a glass strand inside it delivering information using light signals. Fibre technology is more reliable and provides lower latency for gaming and can manage lots of devices at the same time.
CityFibre can install within 6 days, if your address is within their coverage range. You will be offered specific appointment dates, and times from Monday to Saturday. An adult has to be available to supervise the installation, so that permission may be given to the installer should drilling be required.
If there hasn't been a CityFibre installation at your premises before, some drilling or conduit work may be required to feed the optical fibre into your property. You will also have to indicate a preferred installation location, close to a power socket available to power the fibre device.

If the installation requires nothing "above average", the installation is free. However, should your property be fairly large, or the installation is complicated, and a significant run of fibre or conduit is required, there may be an additional installation charge.

We will communicate this charge to you, and you will have to accept the additional charges, before installation can be completed.

CityFibre reserves the right to classify an installation as complex, or "above average", based on it's own criteria.
